The creativeness is on it when I walk by the the studio in Stockholm where Loreen and V Ave Shoe Repair’s Astrid Olsson is working to the last details on a outfit they have put together for Loreen’s performance during the finale of Eurovision, in about one week from now.
Technical solutions and practical details are being tossed like balls back and forward in the air. Astrid draws pictures of flying chiffon, tight hosiery and fluffy feathers in the air, while Loreen talks about information on the performance.

– It feels safe to co-operate with creators who have a clear vision and I feel a belonging too, she says.
Choosing V Ave Shoe Repair seams to be a self spoken.
– I am drawn to passionated people who loves doing what they do. Astrid and me clicked right from the beginning, on a spiritual level, I also already have a lot of V Ave Shoe Repair clothing in my closet. The look balance feminine and masculine in a way I like. I also want to bring something new and out of the box to the Eurovision stage: it is unusual to work with fashion creators, she says.
The choice of the designer could not be more perfect. Except the right feeling for the look, Astrid also has control over which materials works on stage and which does not. She and Lee (the other half of V Ave Shoe Repair) have a past as dancers.
– To create a unique garment of this caliber is a dream coming true, and the perfect complement to the collection work. Loreen also has a type of peculiarity as an artist which I love. She always takes things one steps further, Astrid says.
And the garment?
– It need to give power and greatness – It is a pretty huge stage. We will also do a follow up of the look Martin Bergström created for the Euphoria performance in Baku, to end the circle. I am thinink a bit of a warrior outfit. I do not want to tell more than that right now …
