Loreen and ELLE organize a live concert – and you are invited! At a time when concerts are canceled and Swedish cultural life stands still, Loreen wants to show us that there is a light in the tunnel. – The idea of creating a visually and musically strong live concert with interaction, emerged when I clearly saw the rapid and negative development of the corona pandemic worldwide. It feels important to be able to interact with the audience and take the music and the community home to them when we can’t meet physically, says Loreen and continues:

– I have a theory that everything creative and all art has an extremely large impact on how we humans feel. During this pandemic, we feel locked in, our entire system is affected and it can make us feel stuck. The purpose is to create a meeting place where we can get energy and open up a discussion about the positive that can come out of this time.

Silver Lining

The concert is called Silver Lining, and is about seeing flashes of light in an otherwise turbulent time. Loreen chose the name to highlight the positive we can find in ourselves.

– It’s about our own position and innermost thoughts. This is an incredibly difficult situation, but there is a huge amount of positive to be gained in contact with ourselves. During the concert, there will be an opportunity to interact with Loreen to pep, praise, comment and ask questions live in the comments field.

– There is a light in the tunnel, there is hope and opportunities. We are all in the same boat and there is a lot to pick up in community, even if we can not be together right now, says Loreen.

– Of course it feels super fun to broadcast Loreen’s concert on our Facebook page. Loreen is a fantastic artist and woman and I personally look forward to seeing the concert at my home. These are special times we live in right now and we are happy to convey every glimmer of light that we can be involved in creating, says Cia Jansson, editor-in-chief at ELLE.
