The Eurovision winner Loreen will perform a medley in this Saturday’s final. We will hear her new song “We got the power” amongst others. “I want the audience to remember the essence of what Eurovision really is”, she says.

She opened the first semifinal together will 3 children choirs with the winning song “Euphoria”. Loreen is now back in the final of Eurovision Song Contest.

– It feels absolutely great to be in it. Now, when you are not a part of the competition, you have another focus. I am creating something together with my team, a recap, which I hope many will like, Loreen says.

Premiere for the new Single

In her performance Loreen will do a medley of 3 songs. One of them is completely new – she choose the song from her new single “We got the power”, the reason due to its message, which lays hand in hand to the one Eurovision wants to give out.

– With “We got the power” I want the audience to remember the essence of “We are one” and the whole thing Eurovision stands for, and what music actually has, the singer says.

The song is a lot different from her other songs but it is still defined by her characteristic voice.

“My expressions reaches the crowd”

The performance we will also contain ”My heart is refusing me” – a song which is very important to the singer.

– It was the first song with my own expression. The song symbolizes that I work as I do. My expression reaches the crowd. I did not win, but for me that does not matter. People still placed the song high, that is what matters. And this was the beginning of everything, I felt like I could land for real, Loreen says.
